At MSCH COPENHAGEN, we have had the honour of supporting Gadens Børn since 2019, a dedicated NGO that tirelessly works to ensure a better future for street children in Kolkata, India. The organisation provides essential services such as education, healthcare, daily nutrition and care for the most vulnerable children and mothers.
Our partnership officially began in 2019 with the establishment and operation of a baby and mother centre for homeless and vulnerable children and mothers – an initiative we are incredibly proud to be a part of.

The collaboration between MSCH COPENHAGEN and Gadens Børn came about through a chance inquiry from a customer looking to donate clothing. This connection led us to Gadens Børn and founder Pia Lindell Qwist, who shared her vision and passion for helping the most vulnerable in society.
Our colleague Kristine Emery Ruglykke met with Pia, and it quickly became clear that we shared common values such as transparency, honesty, and trust. We saw a natural alignment between MSCH COPENHAGEN and Gadens Børn and immediately wanted to contribute to their important work.

This experience made a deep impression on all of us and reaffirmed the necessity of our support.As a result of this personal experience, we decided to intensify our commitment to Gadens Børn's projects.
Therefore, we are incredibly pleased to announce that MSCH COPENHAGEN has decided to extend our support to Gadens Børn for the period from 2024 to 2026. This extension includes not only the continued operation of the baby and mother centre but also support for the renovation of the Bakkri Patti activity centre and a girls' home. We hope that our commitment will help create even better conditions and opportunities for these children and their families.
